The System of Producing stabalized sewage sludges by adding burnt lime has proved to be particularly simple and economic using a continuous ploughshare mixer.   Uniform mixing is achieved without excessive densification of the product and without formation of lumps or nests of untreated material. Can be used for sludges with varied degree of de-hydration.  With long, low maintenance working life and quick and easy to clean with accessability to the inside of the mixer.
